Winter Club Kit Order page is now open....

Winter kit order form is now closed....the order has now been placed with the suppliers and they are still promising 14th delivery in the UK and 19th delivery to us here at the club.

Xmas Notice.......

To all current members and past members

A note of cheer for you all; another year has nearly passed us and on behalf of the committee would like to wish all of you a very happy Christmas, and a prosperous New Year.

We are looking forward to our Christmas ride and lunch next Sunday; meeting at John's in Gt Doddington for toast and a cuppa before riding over to Ravensthorpe, to the Chequers for food. The link is here if you haven't booked and wish to join us for a drink, and even the ride over.

Our winter kit fitting evening was not as well attended as we had hoped, but the club web site now shows the order page open for business. Another page with the summer order facility will be open very shortly and it will give you an opportunity to get sorted for next year. Thanks to Mike for sorting out prices and discounts with Halo Sports and for getting the web pages up and running. Payments can be made with your own cards with in the usual style of on-line shopping. Read all about it here and log in to access the details.

If you are not a member yet, or are a member your renewal is now due, please come and join us; membership is now open for 2013 using the form here, with remittance to John Crisp.

with the best of Seasons greetings - David Brown Chairman

2012 Club Xmas Lunch ride....

Well it's that time of the year, and with great weather, somewhat uncharacteristic for this time of the year, especially after the last 3 years AND the last week, the 20 riders who assembled at John Crisp's abode duly left for the customary alehouse at Ravensthorpe for the club's Xmas ride. Riders enjoyed an 8deg C ambient temperature and a moderate to firm tail wind to assist them back after having filled up with a fine Xmas 4 course lunch, washed down with copious amounts of ale and a good christmas sing song which it seems the locals enjoyed immensly judging by the applauses and cheers, or was it jeers... Wonder how they will all feel after the ride home. The "short" route must cover the largest collection of the biggest hills in the local area in the shortest distance! More pics to follow....

Spinning Sessions at Mouton College...

Keep extra fit over winter.....
Monday night spinning classes at Moulton college re-starts on the 7th Jan. The early session has now been confirmed as starting later, so it's now a 6:00pm start instead of 5:15pm. It's also gone up 50p to £4.00 a session.
I have to say I have really enjoyed the last 6 weeks I have been going and definitely gained from it, they are a real challenge! So why not join us....at least 3 regular club members are there every week with another 2 or 3 others making the odd appearance. Sessions are limited to 12 riders.
