Club members moving on.....
45 Road Club members Kevin Hardwick, Ed Palfreeman and Justin Garon update...I'm sure all the 45RC club members would like to wish the very best to 3 of our more active road racers who are moving on for their racing. Justin, Ed and Kev are all joining the Arbis Racing Team, good luck with your racing guys, we look forward to hearing of your successes, keep in touch with the 45RC club and don't be strangers!
Berry's go Cyclocross....
Charlie, James and Mike did the central area cyclocross in Brackley on Saturday 27h Oct, on their mountain bikes. Pic with Charlie swinging his leg through just before a hurdle.
The course was very technical and slippy in places, with everyone hitting the mud at some point. Firstly Michael did the Novice 30 min race and finished a close second. Charlie did the Under 16 race and finish 16 out of 28.
Then James and Michael did the main event together. Starting at the back of the pack together.
Michael takes an early lead on James.
Either Liam is behind Michael or Michael about to be lapped (you make up your mind). A clue Liam came second overall.
As the event went on, James stopped crashing and caught and passed his Dad for a good family win. 
For anyone who has not done this sport before, the local events are very well organised and brilliant fun.

The 2012 45 Road Club Christmas Lunch Ride...
The 2011 Christmas Lunch Run...the group of hardy riders!
Our club's ANNUAL CHRISTMAS lunch has been booked at the Chequers at Ravensthorpe for SUNDAY 9th DECEMBER for 12.30 onwards.
Those who wish to cycle there are most welcome; the group will leave Great Doddington, outside the home of John Crisp, at 09:30 AM for coffee and toast then a pleasant ride through the countryside on a, hopefully sunny morning, to the pub for Xmas grub!
Cost for this extravaganza is only £12.50 per head, includes everything except your drinks! Payment, in cash, on the day to John Crisp please
