45RC Club TT 2019/#16 - 02/07/19
Average night for tonight's 10TT on the A45 course, which after after a fairly promising day turned overcast and noticeably cooler. Only a 10TT tonight as no takers for the 25, However some course PB's and CR's were still acheived.
Course records were set in 2-Up by mixed pairing of Fabos Young/Gemma Royles with a 20:41, and the Male Tandem with an equally fast 20:52 and no dropped chain this week.
PB's went to Alex Garner, Mark Booth and Chris Old, so all told another successful and safe event.
Many thanks to the support team, James trying his hand at the TK role, think he was releived when it was over, Ray for pushing off and Neil for signs again.

45RC Club TT 2019/#15 - 25/06/19
Results for round 15 of the 2019 TT Club Series - 10m TT A45 course - 25th June 2019
An overcast, cool and less than favourable evening today with a slight northerly breeze, proved a challenge for most riders tonight with only two, Graham Read and Sue Rust, managing to set new PB improvements. Ben made a comeback tonight, only a month after surgery and it was clearly evident how pleased he was with his result as he crossed the line.
Sam and Rob Barker were back again on their 70yr old tandem, including the gear train, and repeated their outstanding performance from last week with a 22:26, 3s off from last weeks time, which included dropping the chain again!
Many thanks to all the riders and helpers tonight, and apologies for no pictures this evening.

A45 10TT - 2019/#14 - 18/06/19 Results
Results for a rather damp, but fast, round #14 of the 2019 TT series on the A45.
After a lot of deliberation, monitoring of the road conditions and watching the satellite rain image development, we decided to go ahead as on the course itself it wasn't really too bad. Out of the 8 riders who turned up for the TT, 4 managed to improve their PB's despite the loss of time for everyone on the wet sharp corners and roundabouts, which I would estimate at between 15s and 20s for the whole course. Eddie was again fastest on the night, with another PB at 21:33. We also had the pleasure of the Barker brothers, after many years off, riding tandem, who despite losing almost a minute due to a dropped chain, managed a very rapid 22:33.
Thanks to all the riders for putting up with the deliberation and well done, and to Steve, Lee and Trystan for support help.

45RC Club TT 2019/#13 A45 moving to backup course...
UPDATE: 16:20 June 11th 2019
Tonights backup TT is also now cancelled due to road surface conditions with the recent weather.
2019/#13 moving from A45 to Salcey
Hi everyone, unfortunately, but probably of no surprise to most, the A45 course is not deemed to be safe in the current weather conditions for a TT tonight and will be moved to the backup course, the Salcey course. This also means it will only be a 10TT tonight.
First rider off at 7:15PM, booking in opens from approx 6:15pm.
