Dates for the 2016 Club TT Series have been finalised and the calendar is now available in the "Racing" section menu. There are slots still vacant in the duty roster, so if you want your points to count in the TT Trophy series get your name down!

Whiston Hilly TT - #10 of the 2016 TT series
On a not too warm or cool evening, so much passing cloud kept blocking out the sun's warmth, but the dropping breeze was in possibly the best direction and was kind to most, if not all riders. 15 signed on, 1 DNS, 1 Off-course (don't ask), and some fast and individually impressive times, think there may be some more PB's in there too. George rode the 3rd ever fastest time recorded on this course.

Onto the A45 this week for the N7/10 TT, number 9 in this years series of 24 events. We were expecting some quick rides and were not dissapointed. 23 riders signed on, 23 started, 22 finished, everyone was safe.
Some big hitters were already preparing and warming up at the meeting point ready for tonights TT, signing on was busy, and 15 mins after opening it started raining, much to the annoyance of some of the riders waiting. But it quickly dissapated and the breeze that was present started to drop off, then we were all treated to an amazing rainbow that looked like it was rising out of a bright fire, quite a sight ....it looked like another good event on the 45 was going to be....
Expect a number of PB's to appear on the confirmed results when they have been verified.
Thanks to Kevin McAleese (TK) Barry Walker (PO) and Cat Riley (Signs), for their support in making tonights TT run smoothly.
Back to the woods tonight, for the club 10TT on the Salcey Forest course, with a busy 21 rider field. Clearly some were after the course record and a 2016 JLT-Condor team rider, George Atkins, just missed out with a 21:53. THe course record is currently held by ex 45RC club member, now an NFTO team rider, Liam Stones at 21:38! We were greeted with a slightly cooler temperature than we expected with a little more wind. It looks like time was being lost in the second half of the course. Fastest 45RC club rider was Phil Melling with a fast 22:22, followed by Steve Peel and Rob Weall, both in the 24's.
Thanks to all the riders participating and the support, TK:Chris Drake, PO:Ian Evenden and Signs:Ginny and Mark Spittles.
Weather was good with light wind and clear bright sun, temp was falling and numbers were good. A good night for a TT and a lot of happy riders.
Thanks to all 27 riders that entered, to the guest "riders" and to the support team. A safe evening for all involved, only 2 "incidents", one rider DNF with a blowout on a rear tub, fortunately only a few hundred meters from the start so not too long a walk back and one got lost! Event was timed to perfection with the last rider in 8 mins before "official" sunset.
Fastest time on the night was 45RC rider Sam Barker with a 22:38, followed by Tony Brown (22:53) and another stella ride from Russell Batchelor (23:23) on his new TT bike.
I also found a black long sleeve jersey, on the grass near to the start, if you have lost it, contact the admin here to arrange it's return.
Well that was a surprise, after some fairly heavy and sharp rainstorms during the afternoon, when we assembled at the start point the sky was blue and the roads rapidly dried. Not a lot of wind and it felt like another good event was in store.
21 riders booked in and some really good results were achieved. Fastest time on the night was by 45RC club riders, Sam Barker, follwed by an impressive ride from ex 45RC club member, Ollie Bates, who has definitely improved a lot since last season. Fastest road bike time on the day was yet another great ride by Daniel Parkes, and the 3 female riders were led home with a PB busting time by Charlotte Redden.
Well done everyone on another busy and safe event, also to Charlotte, Charlie and Mike Berry for the support duties.
