Starting and finishing at the Langton Brewery in Thorpe Langton, near Market Harborough, the event takes place on Saturday 13th May.
Featuring three different rides of 100km, 60km and a shorter 10km family ride, the Macmillan Harborough Sportive is looking to raise thousands of pounds for one of the UK’s best-loved charities.
Entry fees for the 100km and 60km road rides are £25 in advance or £30 on the day; and £10 per family for the family ride. All fees and sponsorship monies goes towards supporting the fantastic work done by Macmillan Cancer Support.
All routes will be fully signposted, with food stops along the way, mechanical support on offer, and a broom wagon providing back up. Refreshments and live music will greet riders at the finish line.
To register and view full details of the routes and all the small print, visit the website for the event: macmillanharborough.org.uk.

Well what dreary and dismall day weather wise. 10 brave and hardy souls turned up the for the first event in the 25 round series, it was wet, very wet, raining but not really cold, unless of course you were wet! Chapeaux to all the riders taking part and thanks to Tom, Zak and Simon for the event support. Fastest time on the day was by ex 45RC club member, George Fox, who missed out on the outright course record by 21secs which considering the state of the roads and the rain, was a superb effort, well done George. So the 2017 series leader board has now opened.......
